POTENTIAL SITES
Cornwall Council owns parcels of land across Cornwall, including on the Roseland, some of which may be suitable for small scale affordable housing development. They also own a considerable number of building that are potentially capable of being converted for housing use. In addition, articles in the Roseland Magazine (and through other contacts) have produced offers of possible sites for development.

The viability of several of these opportunities are being evaluated.

In addition, other sites have been, and will be, assessed. The Roseland Plan has specific policies concerning different methods of delivering affordable housing. If you own any of the following:
(i) holiday let;
(ii) hotel, guest house etc;
(iii) redundant building (such as a barn);
(iv) infill land within the settlement boundaries of designated villages, ie St Mawes, St Just, Gerrans/Portscatho, Veryan or Veryan Green;
(v) other land adjacent to the settlement boundaries of one of these villages;
and would like them to be considered for small developments (1-5 units) so that we can help to provide the affordable housing necessary to sustain the community, please contact us.
